The children at our school, Foundations Academy, in Egbe, Nigeria currently do not have access to a dedicated playground at their school. While they are full of energy and potential, there is no safe, structured space designed for them to play, explore, and develop through physical activity during the school day. Play is not just entertainment. It is a vital part of healthy childhood development. A playground helps children build physical strength, confidence, creativity, teamwork, and social skills. It also supports their mental and emotional well-being and improves focus and engagement in the classroom.
